'while (x)' is a set of infinite and recursive feelings in loop, programmed by Lai Yi Ohlsen. A frustration and reclamation of the conditional female experience, the work uses logically sound, yet syntactically flawed prose to refuse the notion of a neatly compiled identity. Each poem embodies the coded structures the artist has observed within the Lenses Used to View Women. She invites you to unzip / unfold her archived emotions one by one and celebrate errors as a final state.
